Had a blast running around chasing Turkeys with Johns guide Nate. Nate had a ton of knowledge of their property’s and helped me get in front of plenty of birds. Will definitely be back for other seasons. Highly recommend.

After having multiple bad hunts with another outfitter I booked a muzzleloader hunt with Rivers edge and boy what a difference. I didn’t harvest a deer on this trip but I saw multiple bucks on every sit and 2 of them were easily in the 160’s class. Meredith was my guide and she definitely puts the work in to give you a quality hunt. I highly recommend them and I’ve already booked my trip for next year.

If you are looking for a local guide that cares about you and not just the money these are your people. First off the communication was excellent, updated pics when ask about, and professionalism mixed with that feeling of being out with your best hunting buddy.

My self and my buddy are local and we came up for the 2 day end of season muzzleloader hunt. Arguably one of the hardest to do based on the moon, and the after rut slow down. But John & Meredith were both on point with their set-ups.

First day we had decent wind and the moon, I passed up a small doe on that morning only to come back to the same stand and at 1605 had a pig of a 8 pointer come in the the corn pile on his way to the field behind me. He got the dirt nap.

The second day, both of us saw deer I didn’t have a shot until later in the evening while my buddy had one in the morning. Unfortunately due to shooter error neither shot was fatal. That was on us, the guides did everything in their power to put us in a position to connect and thats all you can ask for.

just got home from sika deer hunt. sat 4 times saw deer all 4 sits. killed a really good stag on 4th sit. really neat hunt. everything was really good. finished my north American deer species. call John good guy.

Jon runs a nice operation. He put a lot of effort into making sure we had a great hunt. Jon has some great farms to hunt on that provided lots of nice whitetail. I recommend B&J Guide Service if your looking for a quality outfitter.
